ADU STACK

Privacy

This page explains what ADUStack collects through adustack.com, why, and the choices you have.

Notice at Collection

What we collect. When you join a cohort: your name, email, phone number, and property address; the plan size and timing you choose; and your choices about map display, calls and texts, and email updates. From your address we derive your city, ZIP code, and map coordinates. For spam prevention, we keep a one-way hash of your IP address, not the address itself.

Why we collect it. To place you in a city cohort, contact you about your project, schedule site reviews, coordinate with licensed contractors, show your approximate area on the public map if you choose, and send updates only if you opt in.

What's public. Only if you opt in: your general area (shifted roughly a quarter to half a mile from your address), your plan size, and your cohort. Never your name, contact details, or address.

How long we keep it. While your cohort is being organized and built, and for up to 24 months after, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or the law requires us to keep it longer.

Selling and sharing. We do not sell or share your personal information, including for cross-context behavioral advertising. When you move forward with a build, we share relevant project details with the licensed contractor you contract with.

Calls and texts

If you agree, ADUStack may call or text the number you provide about your cohort. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Agreeing isn't required to join.

Where it's stored

Submissions are stored with our database provider, Supabase, and processed through our hosting provider, Hostinger. Addresses are converted to map coordinates using the U.S. Census Bureau geocoding service.

Your California privacy rights

You may request to know what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and we won't treat you differently for asking. Email info@adustack.com; we may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
