We built ADU Stack to change that.
What we’re trying to be

- Understand the full process and typical timelines

At the same time, we want this to be useful for the better local contractors and prefab companies. Clear information and verified reviews help the right builders get in front of serious homeowners — instead of competing only on who can send the lowest initial number.
This is not another generic directory.
It’s an attempt to make the process less opaque and less exhausting for the people who actually have to live with the decision.
We’re starting focused on the Bay Area because this is where the friction is highest and the need for clearer information is strongest.
